Jeff Weber has been an avid photographer of wildlife, nature subjects and landscapes for nearly 40 years. He specializes in the subtropical paradise defined by the Florida Everglades, where he also often serves as a birding field trip leader for the Tropical Audubon Society. His photographs and articles on travel, adventure, food, music and other lifestyle topics have been published in Islands Magazine, Boca Raton, Sea Frontiers, AAA World, Audubon Field Notes, Orlando Leisure, Car & Travel, FSU’s Research in Review, and the in-flight magazine Good Times. Jeff has won several Florida Magazine Association Charlie Awards for both photography and writing
In the publishing field, Jeff was Publisher/Editor of the major engineering magazine Welding Journal for 20 years. He served as President of the Florida Magazine Association in 1997, and he was named Florida Publisher of the Year twice – in 1999 and 2001. Jeff is also the author and primary photographer of A Visitor’s Guide to the Everglades (Great Outdoors Publishing), currently in its third edition and 6th Printing.
