John
Gillan has achieved considerable recognition for
his photography. His compelling images, crafted
with an eye for both technical perfection and
conceptual strength, have won prestigious awards
and have been admired throughout the world in
numerous publications, advertisements and
brochures. Some of the publications include
Architectural Record, Historic Preservation,
Architectural Digest, Florida Architect, Florida
Heritage, Network Computing, Sports Illustrated and
Golf Digest. For the past decade Gillan's work has
been exhibited in galleries and museums
internationally and is part of many private
collections.
John Gillan is the recipient of the 1994/95
Architectural Photographer of the Year Award from
the American Institute of Architect and the ASLA
Award of Excellence for his book Places in Time
Historic Architecture and Landscapes of Miami.
