Based
in Miami, Florida , I specialize in
photographing real people on location for corporate
and editorial clients nationwide. I enjoy capturing
the relaxed, human side of business executives,
professionals, workers and everyday folks in their
own environments.
By combining a photojournalist's eye with an
artist's world view I am able to convey a
corporation's message and contribute to a
magazine's reporting.
Transforming challenging locations into visually
exciting scenes by blending electronic flash and
the magic of available light is my area of greatest
experience. I work in color and black and white in
35 mm, 6 x 7, 4x5 pinhole and panoramic
formats.
My corporate clients have included:
American Express, Bax Global, Cellit Technologies,
CUNA Mutual Credit Union, Internet Capital Group,
Lucent Technologies, McCormick Tribune Foundation,
Shostak Studios, University of Miami School of
Business Administration.
My editorial clients have included:
Business Week, Boy's Life, Chief Executive,
Consumer Reports Publishing, Inc., Information
Week, Success, National Geographic World, Time and
The Wall Street Journal.
As a staff photographer with United Press
International from 1980 to 1989, I reported news
events including the Mariel boat lift, the invasion
of Grenada, national political conventions, the
Space Shuttle program, the Persian Gulf conflict,
World Cup soccer and stories in Cuba. My ability to
speak Spanish facilitated much of this coverage.
